ABOUT ME

Gemma began painting in high school, where she studied acrylic and oil painting, ceramics, sculpture, and more. She began displaying and selling pieces in local galleries and exhibitions in 2019. In 2021, she began studying paint production, and created her first piece with self-made oil paints.

Although she has worked with many different subjects, the people she paints remain the subjects closest to her heart. To Gemma, the ability to depict the true essence and spirit of a person is magical.

“Art connects people. It uses scenes, memories, and moments from the past and present to make a new future. That’s all artists are trying to do anyway: create a brighter future.”
